Personal Awards and Decorations

On December 31st, 2006, after more than 21 years of proudly serving in the United States Navy, the time has come for me to hang up my Dress Blues and call it a career. The challenges that lay ahead in the civilian sector are before me, beginning with the transition from one life to another. I look forward to the challenge. Whether my life returns to the recognizable surroundings of the Midwest or to new locations home or abroad, I know that my years of service experience will suit me well in whatever field I choose to explore. I would not trade the previous 7665 days of my life for the world, but after 10 deployments, port visits to more than 60 countries, sailing all seven seas and the countless missions and assignments, it is time to move on. As time allows I am going to utilize this site to document 21 years of accomplishments, successes and disappointments. It is my hope that you find this information informative and interesting.
